Leech Lake

Hey everyone! Guess what, I am going to Leech Lake with my grandparents for five days! I haven't been there that long. I don't thing I'll get homesick, though! :)
The lodge owners have to girls my age and they are fun to play with. Lucky things, they get to fish whenever!

My 4yo brother JUST I mean JUST got home from visiting the lake. He got home about five-ten minutes ago. We all missed him, and he missed us. Granny and Grandpa really enjoy having him there.

Today I had piano lessons, and my recital is on Wednesday! I can't wait! I have three songs:

Romanian Rhaphsody
Sunset Beach
Jazzin' and Raggin'

I am excited. My sister is playing Camilla the Camel and Red-Hot Boogie. She's doing very well.

Results for seeing Prince Caspian!

Oh my goodness, that movie was WONDERFUL! It was mostly battle, etc. Not bloody battle, though, thank goodness. Oh, the actors have really grown! We had popcorn and pop, but I really watched the movie mostly.

Miscellaneous

Today we had our little cousins out! They are so cute! Mom just came inside and told me the 3yo cousin and my 4yo brother were jumping on the trampoline NAKED! The little buggers! The 1yo cousin is so cute and she calls herself "Wee-wee" and my 2yo brother "Pee-pee". His name is very close to that. Their dad is coming to pick them up later, and they will stay for supper. I have to make a lettuce salad in about fifteen minutes.


Can you believe that MOSQUITOES are out at our farm???!!! I can't, but they came. It rained then the MOSQUITOES came out. I hate mosquitoes. Their stings aren't so bad, but they are annoying. They buzz in your ear and it gets ON YOUR NERVES! That' s one thing I DON'T miss about summer.

You may be interested to know that I am writing another story. This one is called The Adventures of Nina McKenzie. It's about a girl who is a missionary and I'm NOT going to tell anything else! This is a super-special book, and I don't want to ruin the surprise! Just wait until I have written it, and I will send it to everyone.

Tommorrow morning my wonderful granny is coming out to the farm to see my and my 7yo sister's new room! She hasn't seen it yet and it's been three weeks since it was finished. She is also coming up to pick up my 4yo brother.

Prince Caspian

Anyone going to Prince Caspian? We might. I am so excited! I have been waiting for this movie for a LONG time. We might go ON THE NIGHT IT RELEASES! Should be a BIG crowd.
